Oceanside Lantana

Avoid, don't believe the false advertisement or the professional photography. Lived here for 12 months & was counting down the days until my LED. The apartment itself & location were good. However, had multiple issues: 1. Moved in & had 2/6 outlets working in my room, maintenance came twice to fix the issues, I had 4 working outlets throughout the 12 months. 2. Took a 27 hour road trip to come home to a non functioning lock on my front door at 3AM, called the emergency number multiple times, called locksmiths, they couldn't get me in, ended up sleeping in my car. 3. They punish PAYING residents due to their inability to keep the outsiders out. Curfew is at 8 PM for amenities including the pool. They hired a guard service who bullies the residents but allows the outside trash to roam free. The police even patrol, what a waste of tax payer money. The exterior gates were consistently broken. 4. My bill was incorrect for the first 5 months and was being overcharged. Not to mention some of the ridiculous monthly charges. Ex: Fetch package service fee, pest control or lack of I should say, charging $35 extra to have a second car parked in the lot in a (2) bedroom apartment. 5. Fire alarm went off for (9) days in a row in between 2:30AM - 3:30AM. They blamed their vender. Management has no spine. 6. They entered my apartment 3X throughout the year to tac a device to the wall to test for "radon", never has an apartment complex entered my space more in a 12 month time frame. 7. Paid for amenities not available & no updates provided on next steps. Ex: Media Room & Sauna. 8. Lack of maintenance response time, asked for my hallway to be cleaned as there was cooking oil spilled in the middle of (4) doors including mine. Asked for the area to be cleaned, was told they were power washing in (2) weeks. Had to send a nasty response to get it cleaned 6 days after, all for maybe 10 minutes of work. 9. Some of the apartments have mold issues & they are willingly leasing the apartments. They are lucky 1,200 people a day are relocating to FL. Photos attached: Broken exit gate, moldy cabanas that no longer have couches in them/ moldy umbrellas/ moldy pillow on lounge chairs. Dirty diaper on lounge chair where you lay to relax, the dirty hallways filled with lawn debris & pests, the pool closed dark & no lights on, security guard watching the neighborhood kids in the pool during the middle of a lightning storm while using the pool safety rafts. Place is in need of a serious audit & management needs a wake up call internally or via corporate, maybe both. This will also be published on the Better Business Bureau. Don't waste your time responding to my review with fluff, it's all bs.

STAY AWAY! I applied here and they asked for excessive proof of income. I own my own business and showed them over 10K+ in deposits over the span of 3 months from my bank. I also gave them a professional P&L that demonstrated I clearly made WELL over the required amount. I then gave them my IRS tax return. The third party they use is borderline discriminatory towards 1099's. I paid over $750 to apply and now I can't get any of it back. I showed proof that I clearly made enough money but I still got denied. SCAM! Also, Danny, an office worker, was rude and confrontational when I kept questioning their absurd proof of income requests. Furthermore, I called back several times to see if there was another way to apply with a guarantor and he ignored the calls and emails and they just declined me. I never had an opportunity to speak with the property manager. If the property manager see's this I'd like a call from them before I file a complaint with the State of Florida.

I wish to take a moment to recognize the efforts and professionalism of Jenny Ortiz. I’m in the process of moving from the Orlando area and my time has been extremely limited lately. I have to travel quite a bit, etc.. I explained this to Jenny and requested her response time be fast and her information flow concise. She has gone above and beyond in order to accommodate me. Further, she did this pleasantly and with complete accuracy. She has made a very challenging time go much easier. As I say, sadly it seems you only hear about the bad employees. I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for her efforts and professionalism. I look forward to moving into Oceanside Lantana.

Oceanside is an amazing community with great amenities. The apartments are beautiful with a great functional layout but most of all customer service is top notch. Krystal at the leasing office is great! She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful as she assisted me. Her kindness and warm welcoming demeanor made me feel as if I was already home. Krystal, thank you for making this place my only option! 10/10

Our new home is absolutely amazing! The apartments are beautiful and we have so many amenities! We swim in the resort style pool almost daily, where we have cabanas, grilling stations, and lots of chairs to relax in. We couldn’t ask for more out of the clubhouse with a pool table, a bar area, shuffleboard table, movie theater, and even a poker room with a ventilation system for smoking! Let’s not forget Ms. Gretta Stone! She went above and beyond during our process of getting into our beautiful home!!!
